Survival Training: 4x4 Survival

The unexpected that is always there can change a controlled, planned adventure or off road family trip into one with dire consequences, should an off road vehicle breakdown in a remote, desolate and possibly uninhabited area, with the family on board. However this situation can be considerably lessened by the driver and family members having been trained in survival techniques.

Training Dates

  • 19 November 2011 to 25 November 2011

Your survival depends upon applying the basic principles learnt on this course and then applying them to the circumstances in which you may unexpectedly find yourself and your family – knowledge is power.

Kit: There are essential items that should at all times be part of your survival kit and on your vehicle.

Knowledge: Knowledge dispels fear. You should learn the basics of survival, practise them and have a thorough knowledge of how to use your kit to the full capabilities.
